Become a Friend of King

People who become King's Friends receive a lot more in return than just the satisfaction of contributing to a noble cause. In fact, they are entitled to a variety of benefits (subject to availability) that are described below.

Someone can become a friend if they donate £50, and have access to a friends card with a series of College entry benefits , regular King's College updates, an invitation to the King's Annual Garden Party, and their name will be listed as a King's College supporter. However, if that person decides to donate £250 instead, they will be come an associate . An associate has the same benefits as a friend, but also gets a copy of the Choir's latest CD, reserved seats for one Evensong per year and discounts at The Shop at King's .

That sounds great, but not nearly as good as becoming a patron. There are three types of patrons, regular (£1,000), silver (£5,000) and gold (£10,000. A regular patron is entitled to all the benefits of an associate, in addition to attendance at Choir practice, being listed as a supporter of King's College and a complimentary College publication . Silver patrons have all the advantages of being a patron, as well as a copy of the latest choir DVD, two free concert tickets to two concerts a year and a private tour of the Chapel. Finally, gold patrons receive, yes that's right, all the benefits of a silver patron, and invitations to special events and concerts.

Besides accepting personal donations, the College also welcomes corporate sponsorships and donations.
